What to do in Otranto
Bridge between East and West, Otranto is shown to tourists with its oriental charm. The appearance is characteristic of the ancient market towns that border the Mediterranean, impressive when viewed from the sea and with a historic center with characteristic and charming lanes, that wind and climb up to join on Aragonese Castle.
Passing through the front door of the old town you enter a surreal world, where each alley exudes charm and history. It's’ which, between the imposing Castle and the valuable marina, that focus restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, shops of all kinds and for every budget and, especially, clubs that make unique the otrantine nights; during a relaxing evening walk, is nice then let charm by pretty little shops that enhance the typical craftsmanship of the area and give at the curious eye of the tourist their researched works of art in paper mache and Lecce stone.
